I worry sometimes about the amount of time and energy I put into my blog–but as it is my only publishing venue now, I feel it behooves me to promote the work I spend weeks, months, sometimes years (in the case of my novels) composing and editing.

Wise words, and something I’ve been thinking about lately as I prepare to kick start my novel again. Among other things, NaNo has proved to me that it is possible to write every day, I just need the work/leisure ratio to be a little more balanced than it is during those insane days of November so I don’t end up going insane. It’s hard, but it’s doable, and it needs to be done.
